The new Atlas CPC-1200 is a pretty comprehensive Car PC. The Atlas CPC-1200 has an enormous list of features.
These features include: built-in Wi-Fi, GPS Navigation, Bluetooth support, voice recognition, and HD radio support.
Under the hood, the Atlas CPC-1200 sports a Intel Core Duo 1.66GHz CPU, with 1GB ram. The PC uses Vista for its' OS, and is one of the first car PCs to do so. The PC uses an Intel graphics card running on DirectX 10.
The PC won an award for, "Hottest Car Tech" at CES a month ago. The PC retails for $2,700, but with such a long list of features, it looks to be worth it.

MSN Direct is a service that is provided for GPS users. MSN Direct provides GPS systems with traffic updates, weather updates, and gas prices.
This service is now expanding into the HD Radio market. As digital radio becomes commonplace, use of HD Radio is on the rise. Ford is going to start offering HD Radio as standard in 2009. Avis will also start to provide customers with cars that have GPS systems with MSN Direct functionality. Because of this trend it looks as those MSN Direct has found a great partner in HD.
At CES this year Microsoft also released a couple of new features for MSN Direct: stock prices, news headlines and local-event listings.

The biggest problem facing CarPc technology these days is pleasing all the passengers in the car. Surfing the web isn't necessarily what's on the driver's mind, or atleast if he/she is being safe it shouldn't.
