7 September, 2007 - 22:46 Azentek's Atlas CPC-1000

Azentek Atlas CPC-1000
Here is a photo of the new Azentek Atlas CPC-1000 in-car computer.  This is one of the first all-in-one production units that does not have any hideaway boxes and is fully self-contained.  This thing has been in the works for quite some time and was originally shown at SEMA 2006.  Now that SEMA 2007 is approaching, it's almost ready to be released to the public.

4 July, 2006 - 12:20 ccStick iD - the ultimate CarPC gadget?

3 month ago, I have published a story about MWI (MouseWheelInput) and it's new extender the ccStick - a CarPC input device based on the Audi Joystick.
Now, 3 month later I may point you to the new and enhanced tool called ccStick iD, which bases on the same interface but has turned out to be much more versatile (and fancy).
ccStick iD

The appendix "iD" stands for iDrive - which is a groundbreaking concept from BMW, introduced in their BMW 7 series a couple of years ago. Since then, CarPC users were eager to adapt this concept in their cars.
The ccStick iD is a huge step in this direction. It combines a rotary encoder with an 8 direction joystick.
The new ccStick concept makes it very easy to attach this encoder to your CarPC and process the messages sent in a comfortable and easy way using MWI.
